stupid me. getting lost
11:23 p.m. on October 24, 2006

so... after class today i was walking with my old roommate... and so i decided to take the route that led to the path in front of our apartment.. it is a less known path and i've never gone on it to campus or home from campus...

how hard could it be right?

so...

i see like 5 people.. and people go on this path all the time.. they are going in that direction so i assume they know where they're going... as i'm going down the street 3 turn into the rec pool one goes a little further up and turns off somewhere and i am left with this one girl... she starts pedaling extremely fast to keep up with traffic... and now the bike lane is gone......... she suddenly cuts through a bunch of traffic.. me having the fear of getting lost follows her... so i'm surrounded by what i think is the vet school?

she turns into one of the buildings so i continue on hoping i get to the path.. i eventually cross over the overpath... thinking okay.. i'm technically 2 exits away from where i want to be.. so i continue and suddenly notice.. no more buildings.. FARMLAND all around.. i'm thinking i could be on the right path.. the path behind russel blv.. is farmland like....

i finally see a street to make a right so i'll be parallel with the freeway... campbell ave..... at this point i stop and pull out my cell.. why? because there are cows around be.. black ones that are close enough to pet....

All the advice i got... turn back around.. keep in mind i've been riding for 20 minutes or so already....

anyhoo i make the trecharous ride back to campus and then go the extra long way home...
